I've been around these cars for way too long...
I've been around Supras for a very long time. I've owned, driven, built, and modified them. I've worked on them professionally. I bought my first Supra brand new off the lot in 1990. It was a white hardtop turbo 5 speed. Over the last 27 years I have personally owned 15 different Supras. At my peak I had five of them sitting in the driveway. I've driven everything from an 87 NA with a whopping 200 hp to a 1,400+ hp drag car. I have owned and operated my own Supra parts business and have managed a high performance Supra shop. I was the crew chief of an NDRA world champion Supra drag racing team. I have owned, driven and worked on Supra's for 27 years now, and I've pretty much seen it all.
From an online perspective, I used to manage and host quite a few Supra related websites. When I took over hosting the SupraMania.com back at the end of 2004 we had about 1,200 users, the site was running on phpBB, and was a disorganized mess. In early 2005 I converted us over to vBulletin 3, and the site really started to grow. Over the next several years we watched it grow to 235,000+ threads, nearly 2 Million posts with over 21,000 members. It was a lot of work.
I've since passed the torch on to others to carry forward, but I'm still here, and I still love my Supra.
I'm currently driving a black 1995 Hardtop setup for road racing, however she only comes out when the weather is nice.
This site is a work in progress. I probably have 10 times the amount of information that's posted publicly here. I just have to find the time to get it all uploaded and formatted into something coherent. In the meantime if you need some information that isn't listed here, feel free to drop me a line via the Contact form.
